How I Won the War

1967

Richard Lester
Director

Extremely surreal anti-war (not to mention anti-movie) movie from Hard Day's Night Director Richard Lester. Unique piece of cinema, possibly only Slaughterhouse 5 is in the same league. Kinnear and Lennon are excellent, Crawford is a bit much, but then he is supposed to be. Highly recommended for fans of the offbeat.
